Dr. Adam Cloninger's Bio

Before joining RESTORE’s elite surgical team, Dr. Adam Cloninger received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Palm Beach Atlantic University and moved on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine from Ross University. He went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. His area of interest has been in the field of cardiology where he has authored papers and has been published multiple times. He has presented on an array of topics in the field of cardiology in various settings, including national medical conferences. He is especially proud of his volunteer medical mission work in South America. Dr. Cloninger was personally selected by the world renowned hair surgeon, author and inventor, Dr. James Harris who has trained and mentored him and now co-leads RESTORE’s Chicago office.

In his free time, Adam enjoys spending time with his 10-year old pitbull, named Nelly. He also loves to travel and explore the world, nerds out over airplanes and likes to play baseball. In addition to playing baseball, Adam stays fit through exercise like weight training and group fitness classes. To fuel up, he prefers healthy takeout over cooking, and when he’s in the mood for junk food, he will usually grab sour patch kids or anything with oreo or peanut butter. His favorite restaurant in Chicago is Tzuco, which features Mexican cuisine.
